Here are the relevant Android permissions requested by JPTRACK Mobile App


Used for permission that are associated with sending SMS

This permission allows JPTRACK MOBILE to send SMS to GPS devices in order to locate, immobilize or cancel immobilization.


Used for permissions that are associated telephony features.
Allows, for instance, read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device. This, more specifically, allows this application to access the current cellular network information.


Allows an application to write to external storage.

This permission allows JPTRACK to store data about vehicles (phone number & password) in order to send SMS even when GSM is out of data network.


Allows an app to access approximate and precise location.

JPTRACK allows users to send the departure & destination locations to Google Maps in order to visualize the itinerary to get to their vehicle.

This permission allows JPTRACK to get the departure location (where the user is located).


Allows applications to access information about networks.

When logging and loading data, JPTRACK uses this permission in order to get network status.
